What is Bob Pay?

Bob Pay is a simple way for South African merchants to get paid. Online buyers can use Bob Pay at checkout to pay for their goods in a fast and secure way. Buyers can choose to pay with Capitec Pay, via credit and debit cards (Mastercard or Visa) or EFT (manual or instant).  Bob Pay EFT supports most South African banks, with the exception of African Bank and FNB Business Bank account holders. 

Merchants can simply register for free by clicking here and filling out the required fields. After registering, they can use our developer-friendly tools to easily integrate payments into their website. With integration into Shopify and WooCommerce, Bob Pay enables merchants to quickly and easily implement the payment option on their websites. Once payments are received, merchants can then request payouts on their account to withdraw the funds into their bank account. 

Why is Bob Pay mandatory?

Several payment methods are mandatory on Bob Shop, because we want to make it easy for buyers to make payment and conclude their transactions. This also benefits the sellers. For details, please see payment methods available on Bob Shop.
