Changing our name from bidorbuy to Bob Shop won’t affect your experience as a site user. We’ll still be operating a marketplace for buyers and sellers, with buy now and auction options.
While we won’t be using the name bidorbuy after March 2023, we’ll definitely be retaining all the site features and services you know and love, plus a few new exciting things! In the same way, whether you’re a buyer or a seller, you can still count on our exceptional customer service and the safeguards that we’ve built into the site.
Being part of a larger company (Bob Group) means that we’ll have access to more resources, and can therefore offer a better, more complete ecommerce experience. That was the rationale behind our merger with logistics experts uAfrica. We wanted to create a combined company that could offer you much more – “everything ecommerce”.

As a buyer, you’ll experience even better service from sellers on Bob Shop. You should receive the items you’ve ordered sooner, and get more tracking information during the shipping process. We’re looking at new shipping rates that could save you money, and you’ll always know when to expect your parcel.
You’ll still be able to browse over millions of new and pre-loved items, create watchlists, make offers and bid in auctions. It’s just that everything will be, well, smoother and easier.
