When booking a shipment, make sure that you enter the correct parcel information so that the appropriate shipping rate can be calculated.
Find the order you want to ship.
Select the option to Book courier.
Enter or confirm the collection address.
Enter or select the parcel dimensions.
Select Get courier rates to view the available shipping options.
Select your preferred courier and book the shipment.
Download and print the waybill and attach it securely to the parcel.
Once the courier has been booked, the courier receives a notification to schedule collection from your location. The courier will typically aim to collect the parcel on the same or next business day, although collection times may vary depending on the courier's schedule and your location.
Make sure your parcel is properly packaged and ready for collection when the courier arrives.
Bob Shop couriers do service farm areas and other outlying areas. However, an additional surcharge may apply to deliveries to these destinations.
The applicable shipping cost will depend on the destination and courier service selected.
If a product is difficult or impractical to ship using standard courier services, you can offer collection only for that specific item.
When creating or editing a listing, you can override your usual shipping settings and select Collection or Collection only.
To offer collection on an individual product:
Create or edit the listing.
Go to the shipping options.
Override your default shipping settings.
Select Collection or Collection only.
Save the listing.
You must have at least one saved collection address to use this option. If you have more than one collection address saved, your default collection address will be used.
This is particularly useful for large, heavy, fragile or otherwise difficult-to-ship products.
You can filter your Bob Shop orders according to their delivery status, making it easier to identify orders that still need to be shipped or check orders that are already in transit or delivered.
Delivery statuses can help you quickly find orders such as:
Not booked – a courier shipment has not yet been booked.
In transit – the parcel has been collected and is on its way to the buyer.
Delivered – the parcel has reached the buyer.
You can also search for a specific order using its tracking reference.
Keep your shipping settings and collection addresses up to date.
Use accurate parcel weights and dimensions when booking a courier.
Package items securely before the courier arrives.
Book your courier within your stated handling time.
Keep your tracking information available so you can monitor deliveries.
Use the delivery-status filters to identify orders that still need attention.
For products that are difficult to ship, consider offering collection only.
