Paid promotions
There are several paid promotion events on Bob Shop where sellers can list their items: Crazy Wednesday, Snap Friday and Weekend Specials. The paid promotion items feature both in their regular category spot and in the relevant paid promotion.
Crazy Wednesday:
Crazy Wednesday is a Bob Shop online auction event that opens at noon on Tuesdays and closes before midnight on Wednesdays. It features auctions that start from R1, without reserve. To have your item appear on the Crazy Wednesday page:
- Create an auction listing and start your auction at R1 with no reserve.
- Make sure your listing opens and ends between noon on a Tuesday and midnight on a Wednesday.
- Select the Crazy Wednesday Paid promotion under the enhance your listing section.
Snap Friday:
Snap Friday is a Bob Shop online auction event held on Friday. It opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 2 p.m and features auctions that start from R1 without reserve. To have your item appear on the Snap Friday page:
- Create an auction listing and start your auction at R1 with no reserve.
- Make sure your listing opens and ends between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on a Friday.
- Select the Snap Friday Paid promotion under the enhance your listing section.
Weekend Specials:
Weekend Specials is a Bob Shop buy-now and auction online selling event. The event opens at 3 p.m. on Fridays and closes at midnight on Sundays. To have your item appear on the Weekend Specials:
- Create a buy-now or an auction listing.
- Make sure your listing opens and ends between 3 p.m. on a Friday and midnight on a Sunday.
- Select the Weekend Specials Paid promotion under the enhance your listing section.
Tip: All items listed on R1 auction will appear in the Bob Shop Crazy Auction page, at no cost.
There is a flat fee for listing in paid promotions. Please see enhanced listing fees. Paid promotion events are extensively promoted on Bob Shop. Items in the X-Rated category may not feature in any of these events.
