Buyer Protection Programme: Making a claim

Buyer Protection Programme: Making a claim

  1. If you do not receive the item you paid for, or if you think that the item you received differs materially from the one you ordered, first check the original listing to make sure that you've allowed enough time for your auction or buy now item to arrive or to make sure that the item is indeed materially different.
  2. The next step is to contact the seller to try to resolve the issue. If you do not receive a response from the seller within three working days, lodge a claim within 30 days from the date of payment, with all relevant documentation.
  3. Should the item be purchased via PayPal, first process a claim for a refund through PayPal and if unsuccessful, then your credit card issuer.  If both are unsuccessful, you may then lodge a claim with Bob Shop.
  4. If Bob Shop finds that the buyer’s claim was justified, the buyer will be refunded as per the Buyer Protection Programme. All refunds will be done through the bobPay system or bobBucks vouchers into the buyer’s Bob Shop account.
Before submitting a claim, please review the conditions of the Bob Shop Buyer Protection Programme terms and conditions. Please note: claims may take 30 days or longer to be processed, investigated and finalised.

If you have any questions please email claims@bidorbuy.co.za before submitting the claim.
