You pay a single upfront fee when you activate Boost:
Your Boost remains active for 30 days or until the listing closes, whichever comes first.
The fee is charged when Boost is activated and is non-refundable.
With the percentage option, there is no upfront Boost fee. Instead, a percentage is charged on each item sold, in addition to the standard success fee.
Your Boost remains active until the trade closes, and there is no Boost charge if the listing does not sell.
When you ship an order using Bob Shop, the seller is charged a shipping fee based on the weight and dimensions of the parcel provided when booking the shipment.
Shipping rates apply to shipments within South Africa and are charged directly to your seller account. If the actual weight or dimensions differ from those supplied when booking, the appropriate shipping fee may be charged.
Bob Shop provides access to courier services including The Courier Guy, Internet Express, RAM, SkyNet and Fastway, allowing you to compare available rates when booking a shipment.
You can receive a shipping rebate for one shipment when you ship an order within your stipulated handling time.
Your handling time is the maximum time you specify for getting an order ready for courier collection, so it is important to set a realistic handling time.
You can view the latest shipping rates and available courier options under your Shipping settings.
Sellers can offer free shipping on eligible orders.
When you enable the Free shipping feature, you are responsible for covering the buyer's shipping costs, including the current standard buyer shipping fee of R35 and any applicable remote-area surcharges. The minimum order amount for enabling Free shipping is R100.
For the most up-to-date fee information, including applicable category rates and shipping rates, check out our fee rate card and your Shipping settings for our shipping rates before listing an item.
Keep your pricing in mind when listing products, particularly for lower-value items and no-reserve auctions, where fees and shipping costs can have a greater impact on your final return.
